And in her concession speech, which she was blocked from giving by running mate Senator John McCain, the vice-presidential candidate wanted to tell her husband he could 'get ready for championship title number five in the Iron Dog snow machine race'.
A new book about the former governor, Sarah from Alaska, recounts how her team clashed with that of Senator McCain on stage in his home town of Phoenix, Arizona, over making the speech - with McCain aides resorting to switching off the lights to prevent her from speaking.

The power struggle inside of the two big political parties is always fun to watch, but the Republicans are always even better. The 2008 elections really let us see the face of the conflict inside of a political campaign, but Palin always makes it nice an hilarious.
